We like to pay a special tribute to a young man who was truly a global citizen: Peter Habenczius, founder and President of One Global Family, Inc. He was passionate in his committment to make this world one big global family. He found in the internet a beautiful way to express that passion and was our first web editor of the early version of this online journal called www.policybriefs.org. His entrepreneurial spirit was always creative and constantly taking him to new ventures and travels.

He passed away untimely in a car accident in his homeland, Hungary. We miss him dearly and like to keep his memory alive in this rebirth of the online journal that we talked about with him some time ago. He taught us a simple lesson, the human heartbeat is the same across cultures and people. That heartbeat seeks to unite us to create a better world - as Peter would put it - One Global Family.
